DAY 1: NAIROBI - MASAI MARA
Depart Nairobi between 700 hrs -08:00 hrs and drive south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arriving Mara in the afternoon for Lunch and then evening game drive at 4p.m. Return for dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge.
DAY 2: MAASAI MARA GAME DRIVE
After breakfast leave for full day game drive to a home to over 3 million large mammals. Our game drive takes us to searching the animals which include Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino, Hyena, Cheetah, Jackal, warthog, giraffe, zebra, antelope and many different bird species. Picnic lunch will be served at Mara River as you watch out for the wildlife. Dinner & overnight at the Camp/Lodge.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA - NAKURU
Wake up to a romantic breakfast. Then check out & depart with game viewing enroute for your journey to Nakuru. You will stop over in Narok town for lunch at own cost then proceed with the journey arriving Nakuru around 5p.m. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU
After a lavish breakfast depart for a full day game drive in the park in search of Rhino, Rothschild Giraffes, Waterbuck, Zebra, Leopard, and more. Have packed lunch during the warm midday, then proceed game viewing. In the afternoon enjoy thousands of Flamingos that paint the Lake’s shores gorgeously pink. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU - LAKE NAIVASHA
Early breakfast then drives to Kenya’s highest lake at 1880 m above sea level, Lake Naivasha. It is fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species. Boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close are optional.
DAY 6: LAKE NAIVASHA - NAIROBI
After breakfast prepare for check out & depart for Nairobi. Have a stopover on the way at Viewpoint for stunning view from an elevated position to allow you enjoy the beauty of the Great Rift Valley. We arrive in the capital city early afternoon and drop you at your safari hotel. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 7: NAIROBI CITY TOUR
After lavish breakfast, will begin the Nairobi city tour excursion which includes a tasty walk of the city-in-the-sun with a local guide’s’, where you have ample time for close honeymoon photography, bargain and diversified shopping while visiting the stately Parliament buildings, Kenyatta International Conference Centre(KICC) and the colourful Nairobi city market. Lift to the top of KICC to view Nairobi skyline can be arranged also are Visits to Kenya National archives. Thereafter, a visit to the Snake park and Nairobi national Museum: “the Finest Small Museum in Africa” well known for its spell binding exhibits and displays of early man, tribal regalia and the flora and fauna of Kenya also a close visit to the botanical garden. Dinner & overnight.
DAY 8: NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Wake up to a lavish breakfast, then depart for Nairobi National park excursion. It is situated almost on the doorstep of the capital close to the airport.it is ideal for making acquaintance with Kenya and good preparation for a safari & game drive. The park contains a satisfying number of Africa’s best-known animals - gazelle, zebra, giraffe and buffalo, lion, leopard, and cheetah that may prove to be camera friendly. After game drive, you will have packed lunch & in the afternoon spend some time at the Safari Walk, where you can make some good memories of your honeymoon as take the walk. Then embark to your safari hotel for dinner & overnight.
DAY 9: NAIROBI- MOMBASA
After having early lavish breakfast, you will be picked & transferred to the SGR Soykimau terminal to board your train to Mombasa. Arrive in the afternoon for late lunch. Proceed to your hotel/lodge and check into your room. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and familiarizing yourself with the hotel. You may spend the afternoon swimming then take a romantic beach walk, sunbathe in the evening to view sunset. Dinner & overnight at the hotel/Resort.
DAY 10: FORT JESUS/ MOMBASA CITY TOUR
After breakfast visit Fort Jesus which was built by the Portuguese to protect the port of Mombasa and watch convoys of traditional dhows as they return from their morning fishing excursions in Kilindini’s deep water harbour. Later we will have a tour to the old town of Mombasa and the market. Eat lunch at a Mombasa hotel /have packed lunch & after which we will head to the famous Mombasa tusks. Return to the hotel/resort for dinner and overnight.
DAY 11: BOMBOLULU WORKSHOP/HALLER PARK
After a lavish breakfast, visit Bombolulu workshop and see phenomenal artwork which includes necklaces and wristband jewellery to wood carvings and leather items. Later break for lunch. In the afternoon visit Haller Park, which consists of Game Sanctuary, Reptile Park, small demonstration Fish Farm area, Palm Garden and a giraffe viewing platform. Get up and close with the giraffes as you feed them. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/resort.
DAY 12: SPEND THE DAY AT LEISURE
Wake up to a lavish beach breakfast, you will spend the day at leisure around the hotel or at the beach. You may decide to take a refreshing swim in the hotel’s pool or at the beach and romantic walks along the beach. Alternatively, you can spend the day in your room relaxing & having some romantic moments. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/resort.
DAY 13: MOMBASA MARINE PARK
After breakfast head for the Mombasa beach and Marine Park which is a home to a colourful variety of marine species including crabs, starfish, stone fish, cucumbers sea urchins, corals, turtles, sea grasses and beautiful migratory birds. Lunch at a Mombasa Hotel or may be packed lunch. Enjoy swimming, snorkelling and diving. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/resort.
DAY 14: JUMBA LA MTWANA TOUR
After breakfast relax as you enjoy the hotel facilities till mid-day. Have lunch & in the afternoon visit Jumba la Mtwana, the large house of slaves. This area consists of four mosques, a tomb and four houses which have survived and in recognizable condition. These houses include the House of the Cylinder, The House of the Kitchen, The House of the Many Pools, which had three phases, and the Great Mosque. Dinner & overnight at you hotel/lodge.
DAY 15: MOMBASA - NAIROBI
Wake up to a lavish breakfast, then freshen up as you prepare & check out. Depart & drive back to Nairobi or board the SGR at the Mombasa terminal to Nairobi. Arrive at Nairobi and be transferred to your hotel or area of residence where you will end your tour.
